The 2012 Certification Bibliography is now available on the ABNS website. The bibliography provides a list of published sources that focus on nursing certification and is updated yearly.

NNF Recertification Grants Still Available

Apply Now for the CNRN of the Year
Applications are currently being accepted for the 2011 Melanie Minton CNRN of the Year Award. This award recognizes the outstanding achivements of a CNRN who contributes to neuroscience nursing through education, mentoring, patient service and promotion of the CNRN.

ABNN Role Delineation Study
ABNN is currently seeking registered nurses who care for stroke patients along the continuum of care to serve on the Role Delineation Study (RDS) for a potential Stroke Certification Program. Participants will assist ABNN in conducting a Role Delineation Study as a first step toward the stroke certification. Registered nurses engaged in stroke care are invited to submit their name to serve on the RDS Task Force. Individuals looking to apply must be registered nurses with a minimum of 5 years experience in the care of stroke patients. Time commitment includes a 2-day face to face meeting to develop survey, 1 conference call to review results and additional calls to complete work if needed.
