CNRN Recertification

CNRNs are eligible to renew their credential during the fifth year of their certification. If you obtained your certification in 2006 or recertified as of January 1, 2007, then you are due to recertify in 2011.
Those who wish to renew their credential may do so either by retaking the CNRN Examination or recertifying by continuing education (CE). Please make sure to use the correct application when applying for recertification.
Recertification applications must be received at the ABNN office by Friday, October 7, 2011. After this date, applications will still be accepted with a $75 late fee through January 27, 2012.
Recertification Options
CNRNs are able to recertify their credential two different ways:
Recertify by Continuing Education
CNRN Recertification Grant Program
Through the Neuroscience Nursing Foundation (NNF) CNRN Recertification Grant Program, $215 is awarded to CNRNs during their fifth year of certification (i.e., those who are due to recertify in the current year). Visit the NNF website for more information.
